Monotypes

Performing for my camera with Robert Longo inspired poses for a final project, my Albuquerque Museum students expressed such joy, spirit, and exciting figurative movement, I was compelled to “follow the images” into my own work. I developed a series of layered monotypes from digital plates I manipulated on the computer. Working with Master Printer, Ron Pokrasso, each session was exhilarating and surprising. I layered, arranged, and overlapped the imagery developing  a “choreography” of bodies suspended in space.in
